Our Story
For Those About To Rock came together as the brain-child of drummer Eddie Payne and guitarist Tommy Pearson in 2018. Both share a love of high energy rock and roll. After adding Bryan, Paul and Craig to the lineup, the band debuted at a Richmond VA bar to much acclaim.

Subsequent performances were noted for musical accuracy and high energy. More than one person was overheard saying, '...they sound EXACTLY like AC/DC...' . Local music rags noted the band's shows as featured weekend events. With a growing fanbase and robust calendar of gigs the band looked forward to 2020 as a watershed year. Then the pandemic happened. Gigs cancelled, clubs closed down and the band yearned to get back on stage.

After surviving the pandemic and resuming stellar performances throughout 2022 and 2023, the band found themselves at a crossroad. Tommy was forced to retire for health reasons in the summer of 2024 and Eddie stepped down at year's end to focus on other projects. Bryan, Paul and Craig decided to soldier on, adding guitarist Jaime Lloyd in the role of Malcolm Young. After a rigorous search drummer (name) was selected to take on the role of Phil Rudd and his sometime replacements. We'll call him Phil. Just Phil.

With new members and new management, For Those About To Rock is poised to be the most entertaining and musically accurate tribute to the world's greatest rock and roll band - AC/DC.
