"GAGA-GAGA-GAGA EWWWWWW" - Brian Johnson, Let's Get It Up, 1981

 

To be honest, I don't expect anyone to read this. Our story is boring and by now there are a bazillion bands calling themselves "the ultimate AC/DC Experience" or "the Penultimate AC/DC Experience", even "the best AC/DC Tribute band in lower Ontario", and my favorite, "the Ultimate NOT a cover band but actually all we play is AC/DC...Experience". There's no accounting for hyperbole, but we can say we have all the get-ups, gee-gaws and whats-its you expect in a tribute band: period-correct costumes, borrowed catch-phrases, fake Australian accents, stage props, prat-falls and ugly shoes.

 

​​We've been at this for a few years, so we've got plenty of media to gawk at and make fun of. Most important, we really believe in what we are doing. As one kinda buzzed fella yelled at end of our set, "EVERYONE LOVES THIS MUSIC!"

Its true. Everyone does love AC/DC - whether they admit it or not. This stuff is so. Much. Fun.

Here's the proof - if you come to a show, there is a 197.56% chance you will pump your fist and sing along to the chorus at least once. Twice, if you've a few pints in you. Non-stop if you have a few pints AND have been above ground for the last few decades. If you're not a fan now you will be - even if just for one night.
